Students must present their valid MIET Student Identity / Library Card for all book lending operations.

B.Tech Students: Allowed up to 3 general books at a time for a 14-day lending period.
Diploma Students: Allowed up to 2 general books at a time for a 14-day lending period.
Book Bank Volumes: Issued for the complete semester and must be returned before examination clearance.
Renewals: Permitted once for an additional 7 days if there is no pending reservation on the title.

Care & Preservation of Books

Library books are shared institutional assets that must be preserved conscientiously for future batches of engineers.

Underlining, highlighting, folding page corners, or writing notes in library volumes is strictly prohibited.
Borrowers are advised to examine the physical condition of books before borrowing and report any prior tear to the counter.
In the event of a lost or severely damaged volume, the borrower is required to replace the book with the latest edition.
Overdue fines are charged at a nominal rate per day per volume to discourage delayed returns.
